Toronto’s Opera Atelier made a special appearance at the behest of Canadian entrepreneurs Andy Curnew and his wife Dr. Rita Kilislian at their Bridle Path residence in Toronto this Saturday, with pop sensation, Justin Bieber in attendance.

Three members of Opera Atelier (Meghan Lindsay, Christopher Enns and Olivier Laquerre) performed for the guests with pianist Nicole Bellamy.

The event was in celebration of Justin Bieber’s father Jeremy Bieber’s recent engagement to Chelsey Rebelo. It also happened to be host Andy Curnew’s birthday.

Guests celebrated in style with performances by acrobats, fire jugglers, and live graffiti art by Nicholas Sinclair. There were also Rodin sculptures, Warhol prints and the work of Montreal artist Joanne Corno.

Host Andy Curnew had attended his first Opera Atelier this past April, with their production of Mozart’s Lucio Silla. He was so impressed, he presented Opera Atelier co-artistic directors Marshall Pynkoski and Jeannette Lajeunesse Zingg a donation for $25,000 during the event.
