Pianist Yuja Wang stares down her page turner during a performance

(via) We’ve said it before; there is no worse job than being a page turner. After watching this video of pianist Yuja Wang giving her page turner a hilarious death stare waiting for her to turn the page, you’ll see why.

You may be thinking, why bother with a page turner at all? The business of performing music from the page means it’s not always possible to turn the pages while playing. Musicians have been turning to technology to solve this problem. The alternative is to use the method of taping the pages together to create a scroll that can more easily be handled while playing.
