COFFEE BREAK | TSO Chamber Soloists Make a Surprise Visit (Video)

By Ludwig Van on May 19, 2015

The fine folks at the TSO have just released a new video of the TSO Chamber Soloists making a surprise appearance at Toronto’s Merchants of Green Coffee this past January. With only a lucky few in attendance, coffee sippers were treated to an intimate performance of Mozart’s Clarinet Quintet. The next “Popup Concert” is coming up soon, and you can suggest locations via Facebook or directly through email.

In the meantime, if you can’t wait, they will perform live on Classical 96FM tomorrow!

The first 50 people to email concerts@zoomermedia.ca will receive double passes at The New Zoomer Hall on Wednesday, May 20 at noon, followed by a reception. The performance will be part of a Live Radio Broadcast and VisionTV television taping live from The ZoomerPlex in Liberty Village.

The TSO Chamber Soloists are:

Joaquin Valdepeñas, Principal Clarinet
Jonathan Crow, Concertmaster
Mark Skazinetsky, Associate Concertmaster
Teng Li, Principal Viola
Joseph Johnson, Principal Cello
