THE SCOOP | Pearson Airport Baggage Handlers Caught on Video Tossing Instruments

By Michael Vincent on March 24, 2015

The Canadian rock band the Sheepdogs today posted a shocking video on their Facebook page showing an unidentified baggage handler at Toronto Pearson International Airport violently tossing their prized guitars onto the baggage claim area directly in front of passengers.

The band had just arrived from a flight to Toronto and were waiting beside the fragile baggage claim area to pick up their instruments.

The band were so horrified by what they saw, they started documenting it all on a cell phone. In the video, which lasts only a few seconds, you’ll hear a member of the band exclaim “I’m going to get this on tape man, this is brutal.”

The video cuts off as a woman seen approaching the carousel shrieks, as she is nearly hit by the flying instrument.

Pearson Airport authorities responded directly stating “…We take this very seriously and will be following up with the appropriate parties, as baggage is handled by each airline or their contractor.”
