Our friends at Slipped Disc have just reported that the New York-based oboist Ron Cohen Mann, who is in Montreal performing with L’Orchestre de la Francophonie, has had his Oboe stolen this past Sunday from a downtown Montreal cafe. He is seeking help to locate it, and is offering an award of $1000.

The backpack with containing his oboe taken between 4:25-5:10 p.m., July 27 at the Café and Crêpes, Quartier des spectacles, on Ste-Catherine Ouest.

Those in the area please be on the lookout, and if you have information, contact Ron directly at: contact@oboeron.com.
