Toronto Summer Music Festival releases details on Festival Insiders events starting July 23

Screen Shot 2014-07-12 at 11.03.26 AMIn just a few short weeks, Toronto Summer Music will begin rolling out its summer festival events across Toronto at Walter Hall, Koerner Hall and Heliconian Hall between July 22, to August 12.

They have just released an official announcement detailing the festival’s behind-the-scenes Insiders events, which include an impressive lineup of film screenings, interviews, lectures, and masterclasses with such artists as cellist Paul Watkins, pianists Pedja Muzijevic, Angela Cheng and Graham Johnson, U of T Faculty of Music Dean Don McLean, baritones François Le Roux, Christopher Maltman, and Sanford Sylvan, and TSO conductor Peter Oundjian.

TORONTO…Details for the 2014 Toronto Summer Music Festival’s behind-the-scenes Festival Insiders events were announced today including film screenings, Musicians Up-Close interviews, guest lectures, and masterclasses. Festival Insiders Events take place at Walter Hall and Boyd Neel Room in the Edward Johnson Building, Faculty of Music, University of Toronto (80 Queen’s Park).

Festival Insiders tickets are available at the door for $20 per day ($15 for 65+, $10 for under 35) or purchase a Festival Insiders Pass in advance for $75 ($55 for 65+, $35 for under 35) at www.torontosummermusic.com.
