Jan Lisiecki is back for his third residency at Stratford Summer Music, presenting morning concerts Thursday, Friday and Saturday at St Andrew’s Church.

All three recitals feature the music of Frédéric Chopin. Today’s programme mixes some Préludes with Beethoven’s Third Piano Concerto, with reduced orchestral part featuring the Annex String Quartet.
Friday and Saturday are each reserved for one opus set of Chopin’s Études, which Lisiecki so beautifully recorded at Koerner Hall in January.
The little twist the pianist is adding to each of the Étude recitals is an illustrated commentary on interpretive choices — a process artists rarely have the opportunity to share in any detail.
You’ll find all the details here.
