People in several other cities have confronted an old piano sitting in a public space and sporting a sign, “Play me, I’m yours.”

Toronto is about to get a neat twist on the concept, with this:

    I painted a violin…much smaller but equally cool! I did John and Yoko on the back and mice sneaking around a sleeping cat on the front. It was sold at a special fund raiser for Orchestra London. I think painting pianos is an awesome idea!
