A video for anyone who thinks that new music can't have a sense of humour

By John Terauds on April 24, 2012

Torontonian Richard Marsella wrote this piece, Remix for Henk, for Continuum’s February concert.

The performers, recorded at the Music Gallery, are Anne Thompson (flute), Max Christie (clarinet), Carol Lynn Fujino (violin), Paul Widner (cello), Laurent Philippe (piano), Ryan Scott and Haruka Fujii (percussion).

(Marsella, who goes by the performing handle Friendly Rich, happens to be my boss where I teach. Unfortunately, posting this video will not improve my standing with him, or any of my students.)
