Capella Intima presents a programme of Italian-baroque vocal music at Heliconian Hall (pictured above) in Yorkville this evening at 7:30. It’s a perfect venue to hear a vocal quartet and continuo.
This little consort is worth hearing, too, and you don’t have to take anyone’s word for it. Because they recorded yesterday’s performance at Kingston Road United Church, you can get a taste of the music as well as the nicely polished performances on Capella Intima’s website here.
Fish around their website a bit, and you’ll find plenty more to listen to.
